DIY Vegan Lip Scrub

DIY Vegan Lip Scrub
Do you ever wonder how you can get that perfect pout without putting on artificial lip treatments? Do you experience dry or chapped, cracked lips and constantly apply lip balm- especially in the winter? Well, you can get luscious, pink, perfect lips just by doing something simple....exfoliate your lips!
What do I exfoliate my lips with?
A good, all natural lip exfoliator or lip scrub is all you need. To create a natural lip sugar scrub you can simply combine the ever so nutritious olive oil with conventional white sugar or some fluffy brown sugar.
How do I exfoliate my lips?
Take your natural, diy vegan sugar scrub mixture of sugar and olive oil and gently massage it on your lips using your finger in circular motions. Once done, rinse off the sugar, but reapply a little dab of olive oil. Also, any oil can work for this, if you only have coconut, Argan or Almond oil on hand - you can substitute olive for those :)
How often do I need to exfoliate my lips?
Just once a week should be good for most folks, but if you need extra help - you can increase to twice a week. Any more than that and you can actually do more harm than good!
What are the benefits of exfoliating my lips?
Exfoliating your lips with sugar and olive oil will slough off dead skin cells and smooth out chapped skin to reveal luscious, soft lips. While the sugar will exfoliate, the olive oil will provide soothing moisture that dry lips so desperately need. The olive oil is loaded with vitamins and nutrients that will prevent signs of aging and dullness in lips as well.
